  7. It has already been confirmed beyond doubt that the next major phone coming from Infinix will be codenamed Zero X. In another previous article, we told you to expect a total of four smartphones in the series, which will include; the vanilla Zero X, Zero Pro, Zero X Neo and Zero M. Now Infinix is teasing via it official social handles that the upcoming device will also offer up to 60X zooming capability when it goes official. A leaked image had previously shown that the Zero X will come with a Periscope Telephoto lens on the rear, and if the recently revealed Phantom X should be a siblings, then the pixel count of this lens could be around 13-megapixel. With the lens, Infinix is teasing that users will be able to zoom object 60-times away. Obviously, this should be digital zooming, not optical. The recent Phantom X has 2X optical zooming ability, so the Zero X might also offer around same. But since this zooming capability will be digital and not optical zoom, we can’t tell how much image quality will be compromised, except if Infinix is able to introduce some sensor shifting technology or a 2 or 4-axris OIS. This is because optical zooming leverages the physical change in a lens to adjust the distance between camera sensor and subject, whereas digital zoom uses magnification technology to enlarge an area of an image, thereby compromising the quality of the final image produced. The story surrounding this Zero X is all interesting already. There is all possibility that this device could also offer 160W fast charging as well as 50W wireless charging. With good CPU option and competitive pricing strategy, Infinix could build a lasting name for it self. But let just hold our peace until the phone goes official which should happen anytime soon.
  8. The news broke on the web yesterday that the next phone under the flagship Zero-series from Infinix will be called the Zero X. By implications, this mean the company will be skipping the Zero 9 series to 10, the same trend which we saw recently in the Note-series. There were so much to take in regarding the rumor and some of the techs and camera specs the phone is expected to bring to the table, which includes a whooping 160W ultra fast charger. The specs revelations sound so much unbelievable, and while we were still trying to take some details in the rumors to heart, Infinix Kenya took to her official twitter page to announced the existence of 160W wired, and 50W wireless fast charging technologies, which somewhat establish the existence of the Zero X-series and some of it rumored specs. To buttress on this upcoming device, PassionateGeekz, through Bluetooth SIG certification, further stress that there will be a total of four smartphones in the Zero X-series, and this will includes; Infinix ZERO X (X6811B) Infinix ZERO X Pro (X6811) Infinix ZERO X Neo (X6810) Infinix ZERO M (X6810) It is worth nothing that the Zero X Neo and Zero M could be same phones, but to different markets. However, not much is known about any of these phones yet. Although some technical specs that has been mentioned regarding this upcoming Zero X-series so far includes; up to 108-megapixel main camera, along with a Telephoto lens, up to 8GB RAM pegged with 256GB ROM, and an in-display fingerprint scanner that will seat right under an AMOLED screen panel. 9. Hello! Infinix lovers, are you ready to welcome this new upcoming device to the fold? According to a report, Infinix is working on a very promising smartphone with the industry’s leading fast-charging technology and other premium aspects. XDA-Developers have leaked a new Infinix smartphone design, which is unlike any other device the company has ever launched. The smartphone flaunts a bezel-less design with curved edges, something that isn’t easy to do with a common LCD, so we assume the company is working with AMOLED here. The display has a top-left-aligned punch-hole and it sports a square-ish design with smoothed edges. The renders also reveal a Rectangular camera island that comprises a very unusual arrangement of cameras. We have a massive camera on the top, a smaller unit below, and a periscope camera in the bottom part. It also has a large LED flash. The device also sports a huge “NOW” logo that covers the entire back alongside a smaller Infinix logo. The question is, could this device be dubbed Infinix Now? Only time will tell. A few weeks back, there was a report of Infinix working on a 160W ultra flash charger that is capable of filling a device from 0-100% in few minutes, and this new Infinix device appears to support it. If this report is actually correct, then this will be a huge upgrade for the company. This 160W charging has the potential to be an industry-leading technology. At the moment, information is sketchy about this upcoming infinix device aside from the image posted above, and even the internal specification, as well as the name of the phone, hasn’t been disclosed yet. We await more information about this device in the coming weeks. Source | via

SPECIFICATIONS The Infinix Note 10 smartphone is expected to have: A 6.95 inches screen display in HD A MediaTek powered Helio G85 chipset with two cores running at impressive GHz The screen is expected to have a contrast ratio of 1500:1 and a brightness of 480 nits. PRICE RANGE The price of the new and soon to be released Infinix Note 10 in Nigeria varies depending on the online shopping site. The Jumia prices range from 75,000 NGN to 91,600 NGN for Infinix Note 10. The Infinix Note 10 Pro costs 115,000 NGN.
  11. The first model of Infinix Hot 10 was introduced back in September of 2020. Since then, Infinix have announced a handful of iterations like the Hot 10 Lite and the Hot 10 Play, but that might not be all yet. Now, in what looks like 6-month later, Infinix is again teasing the release of another variant in the Hot 10-series, this time an Infinix Hot 10S. Details about these device are still pretty much in the wild, but based on what we’ve been able to dig up on the web, the upcoming Hot 10S could be hotter than other models in the lineup. For example, we have details pointing to the possibility of MediaTek Helio G85 CPU, same chipset powering the soon-to-be released Tecno Camon 17P. Interestingly if there is anything we are sure of, is the fact that the design will not be same as the standard Hot 10. For example, the image above points to the possibility of the 10s having a rectangular camera modules and a fingerprint scanner on the rear, while the frontal view might use a dewdrop notch, which is entirely different from the one-sided punch hole screen on the older model. Earlier in April, an Infinix device modeled X689/D was certified on FCC, to which some tech writers thought to be Hot 11/12. However, the video below and the image above only confirms that X689/D will indeed be called Infinix Hot 10S. Additionally, it been above 6-month since the vanilla Hot 10 was announced, and we don’t expect a minor upgrade after these long while. From the teaser video above, the Hot 10S will be gaming focused device, and should offer better CPU than the previous model. Looking up on GeekBench database, we could see an Infinix smartphone with X689 as the model number, scoring about 370 and 1368 in single and multi-core test respectively. Additionally, the test does confirm the presence of MediaTek MT6769V/CZ, (a.k.a Helio G85 CPU), coupled with 4GB RAM and powered by Android 11 out of the box. But while this seem to be a worthy upgrade over the previous model, retaining the punch-hole notch in the previous model would have seem a better choice. But it is too early for any conclusions just yet. Infinix did confirm that the Hot 10s will be announced in Indonesia on the 3rd of May, so stay tuned for updates.
  12. A leak information has emerged online that Infinix mobility is working on Infinix Note 10, which indicate that it will arrive in no distant future. Also, the listing suggest that it may arrive with 8 GB of RAM + 256 GB of built-in storage. From the listing, it will likely comes with Quad cameras with LED flash, and we also expect to see a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Other information about the smartphone is still left in the dark. We expect to here more details about this device in the coming days. You’ll recall that Infinix Note 8 comes with a Helio G90T gaming chipset, which also suggest that the Note 10 may likely come with a gaming chipset.
